Seasonal Workshops

At Wealden Wild Floral Design, we offer small seasonal workshops where you can spend time working with flowers and natural materials in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Our workshops are inspired by the changing seasons and the flowers and foliage that grow in the countryside around Rye and locality.

These are designed to be fun, informal and enjoyable thus aimed at anyone who simply enjoys flora and fauna with an emphasis on sustainability. Although there will be some instruction given, they are not offered as part of any formal training and the emphasis is always on natural design and enjoying the relaxing process of creating something unique by hand.

Working with Seasonal Flowers

Each workshop focuses on creating something beautiful using the best materials available at the time.

Depending on the season, workshops may include:

• dried wreath making

• spring, summer, autumn and festive wreath workshops

• seasonal table arrangements

Small and Relaxed Workshops

Workshops are usually held in small groups so that everyone has time and space to enjoy the experience.

You will be guided through the design step by step, and no previous experience is needed.

All flowers and materials are provided, and you will take home the arrangement you create.

Seasonal Wreath Workshops

Our wreath workshops are particularly popular in the autumn and winter months.

Using seasonal foliage, berries and natural textures, we create wreaths that reflect the colours and character of the season.

These workshops are a lovely way to welcome the changing seasons or prepare for festive gatherings.

Private Workshops

Private workshops can also be arranged for small groups celebrating special occasions such as:

• birthdays

• small group celebrations

• mother/daughter time

• build a farewell tribute for a loved one

These can be tailored to the season and the interests of the group.
