“Wealden” comes from the High Weald, an area in which we are based in Rye. In totality, the Weald runs from the Kent Marshes through both East and West Sussex to the New Forest in Hampshire and forms a medieval landscape of woodland, hills and small fields, farms and ancient routes. It is now designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We endeavour to source and work with businesses based in the Weald wherever possible.

As to “Wild”, from outset we wanted to approach floristry with a seasonal and natural approach, using sustainable and/or recyclable elements and materials.

Hence “Wealden Wild” was formed in 2022 - Natural, Eco-Friendly, Local Floral Design.
